From the Pagan wastelands of Pakana we take a hard turn and venture deep into distant unknown territories, where the light of day is seldom seen. The call of the night slowly dies, Blood red is the trail, An evil emerges - At the crack of Dawn.

The title track is taken from our third album but sung in Dutch here (in English on the album) and it was mixed and mastered especially for this release. As a B-side there is an Ulver cover and an outro to complete this epic preview into our third album "Into Dawnless Realms".

The third album will act as a farewell and an end of an era release as our drummer Myrrys left the band at the eve of the drum recordings. We wanted him to select one of the songs and a cover song to part ways with us properly fighting farewell battles through this celebration of Cold Nordic Black Metal. Our original drummer Alp was also called in to perform the guitar solo on the Ulver cover.

KORPITULI often remind me at Burzum in their after prison phase with albums like "Belus", "Fallen" or "Umskiptar". The atmosphere and the guitar sound are very similar, just listen to the thrilling opener "On forgotten paths".
